PAST AND PRESENT ON PHOTOGRAPHS

Collecting old photos, it is one of my hobbys.
The old photos have us recognize a life, culture, and atomosphere in those day. 
Then I tried to compare the old picture with present picture on same places. 
Between two pictures, have the distance about 100 years.
incidentally, the left is the past one, the right is the present one.

私の趣味の一つに古写真収集があります。
古写真は当時の生活、文化、雰囲気を感じさせます。
そこで同じ場所で撮られた過去と現在の写真を比較してみました。
２枚の写真の間には、１００年ほどの隔たりがあります。
ちなみに左が過去、右が現在です。

Enoshima at Kanagawa-ken　　神奈川県江の島

[left] A packhorse driver is walking along the shore. can look the Enoshima at the back.

[right] There is a couple on a paved road they are looking the shore with the setting sun.

[left] There are two men and some boats for fishing, coming out the way to Enoshima with the edd.

[right] the strongly-built bridge has been constructed to Enoshima.



the Great Buddha at Kamakura　鎌倉の大仏
[left] around Budda is very simple, a man pray to Budda on his knees.
[right] this place is one of most famous sights now in Kamakura .



a hot-spring town Ikaho　伊香保温泉街
[left] Ikaho is taradional hot-spring town, it was a calm atomosphere in those day.
[right] buildings and alley have been changed to modern structures.



Kaminari-mon Nakamise at Asakusa　浅草雷門仲見世
[left] many people are walking between shopping arcades.
[right] shopping arcades have been renovated to electronic signboards. 


Just a 100 years, but the scenery on pictures has changed clearly. I wonder how world were if it is 500 years ago or 1000 years ago. unfortunately we can see the existing old photos are until 150 years ago at oldest. I would like to go and see an old world been known by the history and legend if my dream come true.

たかが１００年、しかし写真の風景は明らかに変わっていました。もし、それが５００年前、１０００年前だったら世の中はどうだったのでしょうか。あいにく現存する写真は最も古くても１５０年前くらいのものです。もし願いが叶うのなら、歴史や伝承などで知られる過去の世界へ行って見てみたいものです。
